Press a hotkey, drag a region of your screen, and interrogate it with a local AI. asknix OCRs every capture instantly (offline) and, when a local Ollama vision model is present, feeds the actual pixels to it so you can ask "what does this error mean?", "translate this", or "explain this chart" in a follow-up chat that keeps the image in context.

- Unsigned builds and security prompts
- Builds are not code-signed. Windows SmartScreen, macOS Gatekeeper, or your antivirus may warn about or block them. Only ever download from an official NixBiz link, and verify anything you run. Never disable your security software on account of this project.

- These tools are designed to run locally, but some features can connect to third-party services you configure yourself. You are responsible for your own API keys, credentials, costs, and for complying with those providers' terms. Any charges you incur with a third-party provider are yours alone.
