vidmorph
Drop videos, pick a target format and preset, and convert them in a batch queue with live progress, speed, and ETA. For the everyday "this video won't play / is too big" problem.
Key features
- Drag-drop + Open multi-file input (mp4/mov/mkv/webm/avi/m4v/wmv/flv). Files load directly in the renderer, so originals are never read through a copy step.
- Per-item probe — duration, resolution, container, and size shown on every queued row (read from the browser's own video decoder).
- Format targets — MP4 (H.264), WebM (VP9/VP8), MOV, MKV, and animated GIF, selectable as pills applied to the whole batch.
- Quality presets — Universal / High / Small file, each with a plain-language one-line explanation (mapped to encoder bitrate).
- Resolution presets — Keep / 1080p / 720p / 480p. Never upscales, preserves aspect ratio, forces even dimensions.
- Frame-rate control — Keep / 30 / 24 / 15 fps.
- Sequential batch queue — one conversion at a time (CPU-bound), with per-item progress %, speed (×realtime), ETA, and an overall progress strip.
- Reorder / remove queued items; Clear finished to tidy the list.

- Unsigned builds and security prompts
- Builds are not code-signed. Windows SmartScreen, macOS Gatekeeper, or your antivirus may warn about or block them. Only ever download from an official NixBiz link, and verify anything you run. Never disable your security software on account of this project.
- Your data, keys, and third-party services
- These tools are designed to run locally, but some features can connect to third-party services you configure yourself. You are responsible for your own API keys, credentials, costs, and for complying with those providers' terms. Any charges you incur with a third-party provider are yours alone.
- Not for critical or regulated use
- This software is not intended for, and must not be relied on in, any safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, or otherwise regulated setting, nor anywhere failure could cause injury, loss, or legal exposure. It is not a substitute for professional advice or a supported commercial tool.
- Free, and no support promised
- The software is free to use. There is no service level agreement, no guaranteed support, no guaranteed updates, and no guaranteed compatibility with your system or with future versions.
